TIME OUT
Time out rocked out as the opener band in Juanapalooza 2008 to start the party of right. A young but talented band as we are sure we will see more of them in the future. They played cover songs from Weezer, Blink 182, Greenday, The Killers, and more.

Unannounced was another great performance at Juanapalooza 2008.

Tha Backz
Backz had a stella ending performance at Juanapalooza as they rocked the show. Did not get to talk to them much but they seem like a band that has been around a while with their confidence and stage presence. Definitley a crowd pleaser as they played “703″ repping it to all the people that live in that area.

Nocturnal Ascent
Nocturnal Ascent was a great band to meet with this weekend at Juanapalooza. They rocked on stage and so did their personality when we got to talk with them for a bit after their performance. Nocturnal Ascent played rock classics like, “I Love Rock n Roll”, and many others. They got the crowd jumping and singing. Kick ass performance!

To start of we would like to talk about our story on how we ended up at Juanapalooza. Saturday morning at 2am Liz C and I started our journey from Charlotte, NC, to The DC area to come and check out an event that was told we cannot miss. After 400 miles and 6 hours later we ended up at Ray Z, Part Owner Flipsidemagazine.com, place and started preparing for the event.
After getting camera’s ready and everything we could finally go out and have some fun. We met up with Dave, the host of Juanapalooza, and set our selves up for a good night of drinking and partying with the bands.
The Bands we got to meet were Time Out, Nocturnal Ascent, Unannounced, and Backz. They all had killer performances. We got some great live footage and pictures of the bands that you have to check out by going to the bands pages.
Liz C our Lead Top Model said she had a blast hanging out with everyone at Juanapalooza and we would love to come up next year and do it again.
